Wedding Day Nails

We asked @NincLondon, a nail artist in London, to give us her top tips on how to create the perfect bridal nails.
Nail Trial
A pre-wedding manicure is essential for seeing which colour you would like to wear on your big day, and a trial is perfect to figure this out. A traditional nail polish is perfect for your wedding day nails, as you can remove at home and don't require a professional to do it for you.
Step 1: The base
Push cuticles back, clean and tidy any dead skin on the nail, buff and file nails to your desired shape. An oval shape or squoval are ideal shape for bridal nails
Step 2: Luxury Hand Care
Using a hand scrub will removes any dead skin on the hands and nails, leaving you with a clean nail plate. Oil and moisturise your hands, then wipe the nail with a nail polish remover, to be squeaky clean! Dry well.
Step 3: Apply Base Coat
Use Nail Kind Natural Base Coat to prep your nails for the colour. Using a base coat will prime and protect the nails and help prevent chipping.
Step 4: Apply Nail Polish
Apply two coats of Nail Kind Pillow Talk, always cap the edge / tip of your nails when painting nail polish for minimal chipping.
Step 5: Perfect finish with Top Coat
Finish with Nail Kind Mist You quick dry natural top coat to seal the polish. It will also help prevent chipping and add an extra layer of gloss to your mani.
